Episode Guide
Only fools and horses was a very long running BBC Television series and has been and still is being transmitted in many country's. The story is of Del and Rodney Trotter and their extended family. It covers ther misadventures and various attempts to make a living and to become millionaires. It also covers their relationships and emotional trials and tribulations The story lines and the dialogue are in my opinion without equal.  Only Fools and Horses remains my and many others all time favourite television series, At one time I had every episode in my collection, but they are mostly on VHS tape (which sadly are wearing or have worn out) I am now gradualy buying them again on DVD, Amazon seems to be cheapest. I remember watching the very first transmission of the first show and have to say I was at the time nonplused by it, but the humour grows on you. In my opinion that was where it really should have ended, the episodes after that were just meager iterations of those that preceded. Going back to the Trotters and having them loose their fortune spoiled the fairy tale. But if the series was to be continued I suppose that was the only direction it could go in and the fans wanted more episodes |
