Specifications

These specs were taken from a data sheet released by Ford at the UK launch of their 7000 model agricultural tractor.

My tractor was an Australian version of the Ford 7000 produced in the UK in 1974 and it either (most likely) didn't come with a cab, or it lost it at some point.

As far as I know everything else was the same as detailed here on the UK data sheet.

The power output differs in the USA, in many states power must be rated at the PTO and not at the fly wheel as detailed in Australia and the UK etc.

Power Take Off (PTO)
Standard, fully independent hydraulically actuated PTO with multi plate wet disc clutch, hand control provides 540 rpm at 1700 rev./min. and 650 PTO shaft speed at 2100 rev/min. Easy remove PTO guard. Shaft diameter - 1a/8 in. 6 spline. Shaft height from ground - 25 ins. Two speed 540/1000 rpm PTO optional.

Hydraulic Power
Fully independent single lever hydraulics giving Position Control, Draft Control and Load Monitor Operations. Fully oil immersed gear pump capacity 5 gpm at 2100 rev./min. Auxiliary services control valve. Max. operating pressure 2500 PSI, Category II type implement linkage with flexible link ends. Linkage assist ram. Top link and Load Monitor draft sensing. External check chains as standard.

General
Handbrake. Toolbox. Vertical Exhaust Deluxe seat incorporating dual ride field/road suspension control. Foot throttle.

Steering
Hydraulically power assisted, recirculatory ball type, ratio 3271. Turning radius without brakes -12 feet.

22 amp generator, 12 volt battery 128 amp .hr. capacity fitted in swivel tray over engine for easy servicing. Current voltage control. Safety Start. Full lighting kit, including licence plate bracket and illumination.
